(da) Wabbit

It still exists in Gretna. It's on Kepler just off of Franklin in Gretna. However, it's been through several openings, closings, managements, etc. since its glory days in the 50's and 60's. Ain't been there to check out the present situation. In its heyday, if you were from the Westbank and ain't been to Da Wabbit, you ain't been nowhere!!
Waterbury's used to be my Canal Street bus stop to get the Magazine St. bus heading home. Figure that one out. If I'm not mistaken, it's the corner of Camp and Canal. Figure that one out. It no longer exists, but I can't for the life of me remember what's there now. I was just playing tourist in the Quarter a couple weeks ago and can't remember what I saw there as I passed the area. I used to read all their magazines and greeting cards while I waited for the bus.
